Jim Cameron, Erik Miyake, and Matt Pomaville have earned the Rank of Eagle Scout

On May 15^th, Jim Cameron, Erik Miyake, and Matt Pomaville will be presented the Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank in Scouting. All three young men have been role models in Troop 223 helping it grow by setting an example and living the Scout Oath and Law. Matt and Erik have also had leadership roles in BSA’s National Youth Leadership Training program. Jim’s Eagle Scout project was to repair cages for the Exotic Animal Foundation, Erik’s project involved landscaping an area at the Caruthers Fairgrounds, and Matt’s project was to replace shelving units in the food pantry for St. Benedict Catholic Worker. All three graduated from St. Anthonys School in 2008, and currently attend San Joaquin Memorial High School.
